There are evermore stringent demands on analytical instrumentation, that call for increased accuracy levels, greater reliability and integration with local control systems and/or communication with plant-wide Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
The Process Control Department is well aware of the fact that different customers have different needs, ranging from basic instrumentation for measurements under standard conditions, to turnkey projects incorporating multiple instruments, communications and control accessories, data storage, and different configurations of instrumentation storage in instrumentation rooms, and ranging from open spaces to areas protected against explosions.
Deliverables include rooms made of stainless steel, metal sheeting and polyester, etc. and incorporating gas detection systems, air-conditioning, etc.
Contel supplied the Paz Ashdod Refinery with a sophisticated analyzer room. The 5mx3m, stainless steel room is equipped with four analyzers for monitoring gases and liquids.
