Contel provides software solutions for control of water supplies.
In 2009, Contel purchased the operations of Hydrocom Control Systems Ltd., which then became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Contel Group.
Hydrocom maintains, and together with Mekorot, is continuing to develop the system in accordance with a multi-year plan.
The system boasts unique technologies to control and supply huge water networks, and supports hierarchical handling of vast arrays of data.
The system has been successfully installed at the main control centers of Mekorot, responsible for Israel’s water supply, and is linked in real time to over a million control points dispersed across 3000 remote sites.
Contel ITS is currently implementing a computerized control and recording system for a shot peening machine in the Civil Aircraft Division of the Israel Aircraft Industries.
