Contel supplies original ERIE valves made in the USA, which have an outstanding track record for reliability, and are installed in hundreds of thousands of fan coil units (FCUs) that have been operating trouble-free in Israel for decades. In recent years, there has also been a growing demand for proportional valves in FCUs and in light AHUs (AW) from Erie and Siemens.
Contel integrated an MRB module at the Shefa plant in Arad, as part of MES (Manufacturing Execution System) software installed at the plant. Material pending an MRB (Material Review Board) is material suspected of being defective, and hence initially kept back from production until tested.
