Building Management Systems (BMS)

Building management systems are computerized systems that provide central control of the electro-mechanical  devices in a building, generally including air-conditioning installations (cooling, heating and ventilation), lighting systems and various electrical installations.  In recent years, security systems have also been incorporated in some building management systems (for example: entry controls and CCTV).

Contel executes turnkey projects mainly based on hardware, communications and DESIGO control software from Siemens Building Technologies, the most advanced and the best in its class in the world.

The basic concept behind the development of Siemens building management systems was and remains a technical and business worldview that embraces an optimal combination of advanced technology and product quality on the one hand, and protection of the customer’s long term  investment, on the other.  The latest controllers integrate and communicate with veteran equipment and controllers operating in systems that are decades old. Upgrades executed over the years are made mainly to the actual computers themselves and to the control software, without the need to replace the I/O cards and/or the controllers or the application software of the controllers.

Contel’s professional and highly experienced staff guarantee superior engineering and software, and compliance with project timetables as well as backup and support over the years, long after project completion.

The long-standing loyalty of our broad customer base in the area of building management systems is the best testimony to the quality of the systems, and to Contel’s unsurpassed performance and level of service.
